Returns Policy

In our team, we are deeply passionate about our products and would only endorse them if we would happily purchase them for ourselves. We encourage our customers to appreciate that ordering through our website does not mirror the experience of buying directly from a physical store. Each product is unique and we cannot guarantee that the colour or the veining shown in the photographs on the product page will exactly match the natural materials predominantly used in our Laguiole en Aubrac handles.

If the product has not been personalised by engraving

A right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date and time of the order is permitted under French law. The shipping costs and the fees retained by the payment platform (PayPal/Payplug) WILL NOT BE REFUNDED (approximately 4%). This charge is a commission subtracted from your purchase price. We are unable to refund a payment not received in full. Return shipping charges will not be covered if you simply change your mind about the product. If you are not located in France, we are unable to provide return labels.

We recognise the high standards our customers hold, and we share those expectations. In this scenario, we suggest visiting a local store in your nearest city to directly purchase the product of your choice, ensuring it meets your specific material, grain, and colour requirements.

If the product has been personalised by engraving

No product that has been clearly personalised by engraving can be refunded, as it cannot be resold to another buyer with the same personalisation requirements, in accordance with French law: Article L. 221-1 of the Consumer Code.

I did not buy on your site but I want a refund

We cannot issue refunds or support for products not purchased through our site.

How to return your order

Please email us first to describe your issue, and we will issue a confirmation number for your return. Our postal address, along with our email and phone number, are detailed in your order confirmation and on the invoice automatically attached to this email. To locate this email, please search your mailbox. We do not provide return postage as this would necessitate doubling the shipping cost.

How to track and trace my return

Each return must be accompanied by a tracking number and link. A phone number must be provided and entered to receive delivery notifications via SMS. The product must be well protected and include all the elements that were originally sent.

The customs declaration must be completed and declared at 0€. If a higher amount is declared, customs charges ranging from 19€ to 50€ may be imposed to retrieve the return parcel.

These fees, along with the non-refundable shipping costs and payment platform commissions, will be deducted from the refund of your purchase.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7 days following the receipt of your return. Detailed information about the commission fee deducted by the payment platform, and the fact that shipping and return costs cannot be refunded, will be provided.
